With me being in Patong, one of the things I have to do again, is sitting just before the main entry of Jungceylon in Patong in one of my favourites: The Coffee Club.
Since when have I been here the first time? Maybe 12 years? Because since the Jungceylon was build, the Coffee Club was there.

This time I had a plan, to GET WHAT I WANT! Just kidding. But, there was a reason why I want to get the – anyway great – Eggs Benedict in a special way. Around the first time I have been in The Coffee Club and ordered their eggs with crispy bacon and freshly home-made made Sauce Hollandaise, the cook wait it wrong. Yes, he did! What he did was not only the crispy bacon in a layer in the Eggs Benedict, but under the layer of that he put also the salmon! I only realised it, when I took the first bite.

All the next years I had been in The Coffee Club I had difficulties to explain WHAT I WANT TO HAVE! The waitresses did not understand what that Farang was was babbling, what does he want? So, this time I told the very friendly waitresses, if she could send me a manager who was on duty. The lady came and I explained how I want to have my Eggs Benedict with Salmon and Crispy Bacon and also explained how and when this ‘wrongly made’ eggs had brought on my table. After some explanation hither and tither, she called my waitress again and explained her, how and what – also today – I wanted to have MY Eggs Benedict.
If anyone of my readers now shake his or her head, well then this is my fault to make you shake your head. For me? That’s just the way I am.
